For perfectly cooked oats use 2 cups of water for every 1 cup of uncooked rolled oats.
Bring the water to the boil in a large saucepan and cook for 5-10 minutes or until soft. Add a sprinkle of your favourite nuts or seeds and a spoonful of honey.
